Honda has slashed the price of its e:Ny1 electric SUV to £39,995, marking a significant reduction of £5,000. This vehicle is the inaugural model to utilise Honda's innovative front-wheel-drive e:N Architecture F platform.
The e:Ny1 shares a striking resemblance to the Honda HR-V and is set to rival other vehicles in its segment.
The vehicle is accompanied by a free Five Year Care Package, encompassing maintenance, warranty, and roadside support throughout Europe.
Equipped with a 68.8kWh battery, it offers an impressive range of 256 miles (WLTP). The e:Ny1's electric motor delivers 204PS and 310Nm, allowing for a swift acceleration time of 7.6 seconds from 0-62mph.
What does this car include?
All versions come equipped with a 15.1-inch central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument display. Users can utilise the My Honda+ app to conveniently schedule climate control and remote charging through their smartphone with the Core Connectivity package, which is included at no extra cost for the initial eight years of ownership.
The Digital Key package, allowing the driver and up to five others to control the vehicle via the app, is provided free of charge for the first year of ownership.
Additionally, the Safety and Journey package, also complimentary for the first year, offers Digital Roadside Support in case of a breakdown, along with Geo Fence technology that alerts the owner immediately if the vehicle is moved or exits a designated area without authorisation.

The Elegace, priced at £39,995, leads the line-up. It comes with a range of standard features including an electrically adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, auto dimming mirrors, dual zone air conditioning, a wireless charging pad, smart entry and push button start, and privacy glass.
For those seeking the ultimate experience, the range-topping Advance grade starts from £42,195. It offers premium synthetic leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a heated leather steering wheel, and a premium audio system.
In addition, the Advance grade boasts a handsfree power tailgate and Honda's Parking Pilot system. This system is further enhanced by a multi-view camera system and additional side sensors.
The e:Ny1 has been available for purchase since October last year, with initial prices beginning at £44,995, but as previously stated in this article the price has been lowered for this electric vehicle.
